Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13‑week assignment in Weatherford, Texas.

Travel Nursing assignment – 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts, full‑time, permanent travel position.

• One year recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC)
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare equipment and aid physician
• Provide immediate postpartum care
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and others
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence‑based protocols
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
• Assist in cesarean sections and other procedures
• Comply with all regulatory standards, hospital policies, and state laws
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of labor and delivery nursing

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• English reading, writing, and speaking
• Ability to follow instructions, PC skills
• Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push/pull, bend
• Interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel
• Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation and procedural assistance
• Mental resilience under pressure; ability to work with irregular schedules
• Sensory: visual acuity and communication
