Field Service Technician

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Field Service Technician role based in Weatherford, TX. The Field Service Technician will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical systems at residential and commercial customer locations, depending on certifications and experience. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include responding to service calls, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing accurate service documentation. The technician will interact directly with customers to explain findings, recommend solutions, and ensure a clear understanding of services performed.

The role also involves following safety protocols, maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment, and coordinating with dispatch and team members to complete work efficiently and on schedule.

• Technical proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical systems, including diagnosis, repair, and routine maintenance.
• Ability to use standard trade tools, diagnostic equipment, and digital devices (e.g., tablets or mobile apps) to complete work orders and documentation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally, explain technical issues in clear terms, and build trust with diverse customers.
• Solid problem‑solving, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple service calls and prioritize tasks safely and efficiently.
• Commitment to safety practices, adherence to applicable codes and regulations, and willingness to follow company policies and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to travel to customer sites in the Weatherford and Fort Worth area.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training, technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing licenses), or EPA certification are highly beneficial.
• Ability to perform the physical aspects of the job, including lifting, climbing, standing, and working in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Experience in residential or commercial field service is preferred, but candidates with related technical training and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
