Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and versatile Maintenance & Transportation Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our behavioral health treatment facilities. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position that combines facility maintenance responsibilities and client transportation
.

The position will generally consist of approximately 50% facility maintenance and 50% client transportation
. The actual distribution of responsibilities may vary from week to week based on client transportation needs, facility priorities, scheduling requirements, and operational demands.

Driving and client transportation are essential functions of this position. The employee must maintain a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and meet all company and applicable insurance requirements for operating company vehicles.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, comfortable working around clients in a behavioral health treatment environment, and able to transition between maintenance and transportation responsibilities as operational needs require.

Primary Responsibilities Maintenance – Approximately 50%
  • Perform routine facility maintenance and minor/general repairs throughout the facilities.
    • Complete assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
  • Perform basic minor repairs involving plumbing, fixtures, doors, locks, furniture, walls, and other facility equipment.
    • Assemble, install, move, or repair furniture and equipment as needed.
    • Complete minor painting, patching, touch-ups, and general facility upkeep.
    • Conduct routine inspections of the property and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
    • Assist with preventative maintenance tasks.
    • Maintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance areas, tools, and supplies.
    • Assist with grounds and exterior facility needs as assigned.
  • Promptly report larger or specialized repairs, safety hazards, or issues requiring a licensed contractor or qualified outside vendor.
  • Maintenance responsibilities are limited to minor/general repairs and facility upkeep. Work requiring a licensed professional or contractor will be handled by an appropriately qualified external provider.
    • Support facility projects and other operational needs as assigned.
Client Transportation – Approximately 50%
    • Safely transport clients to and from scheduled appointments, facilities, airports, hospitals, pharmacies, and other approved destinations.
    • Transport clients between company locations when needed.
    • Assist with transportation related to client admissions and discharges.
    • Maintain professional and appropriate boundaries with clients at all times.
    • Follow all company policies regarding client transportation, confidentiality, safety, and supervision.
    • Ensure clients arrive at scheduled destinations safely and on time.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles.
    • Complete required vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
    • Maintain accurate transportation logs and other required documentation.
    • Follow all traffic laws and company vehicle safety requirements.
    • Communicate transportation delays, client concerns, incidents, or other issues to the appropriate staff promptly.
  • Maintain eligibility to operate company vehicles in accordance with company policies and applicable insurance requirements.
Qualifications
