What You'll Do:
- Design battery electronics systems including voltage, temperature, and current telemetry, cell balancing, communication buses, and safety disconnect systems
- Perform circuit design, analysis, simulation, and PCB layout for harsh-environment applications (vibration, shock, thermal cycling, corrosive atmospheres, radiation)
- Design measurement, analog signal conditioning, and A/D conversion circuits for battery parameters
- Generate and maintain electronics engineering data deliverables (drawings, PCB packages, compliance matrices, FMEAs, test reports)
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design, manufacturing, and test issues
Must-Have
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion
- Experience working with microcontrollers and serial communications protocols
- Experience in schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout
- Experience in development and maintenance of Engineering and Production documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office for data analysis, reduction, and presentation
- Demonstrated self-starter and schedule-driven
- Demonstrated attention to detail through accuracy and completeness of information
