Salary Range: $18.80 To $21.85 Hourly
Summary/ObjectiveThe Burny CNC Plasma Cutter is responsible for the operation of laying out, fitting, and setting up the equipment and completing cuts, trims, or scarfs to the dimensions specified by the blueprints, work order, or layout.

- Understands all functions on CNC, i.e. plasma cutting tips/nozzle size and speed charts, oxy-fuel cutting tips and gas pressures, kerf settings, amperage settings, standard shapes, keyboard to computer, and appropriate instruction manuals.
- Use of torches, plasma cutters, Bridgeport, sheers and various cutting tools.
- Positions pieces onto table or into fixture, with jib or overhead crane.
- Selects appropriate electrode, gas nozzle, electric current, and gas pressure according to thickness and type of metal, data on charts, or record of previous runs.
- Adjusts amperage and gas blow direction.
- Strikes arc and guides electrode along lines to cut (melt) metal.
- Removal of chips, and spurs, as well as burning out cracks and holes.
- Proficient in the use of measuring devices, i.e. tape measure, level, protractor, micrometer, compass, etc.
- Verification that finished work is in conformance.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communication in a cohesive manner with management and peers.

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Education and Experience
- Three (3) years of manufacturing experience, two (2) years with same/similar equipment
- Previous CNC and welding experience is a plus

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 1st shift- 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 2nd shift- 3:30 p.m. to midnight., 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
