(USA) Overnight Stocking Coach, Non-Complex Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop store teams through training, coaching, and active listening.
- Tour stores, provide feedback, and communicate operations with associates at all levels.
- Introduce and lead company change initiatives, offering clear expectations and guidance.
- Model exceptional customer service following the One Best Way (OBW) service model and support community outreach initiatives.
- Resolve customer complaints, develop action plans, and drive process improvement for a high‑quality customer experience.
- Review profit and loss statements, assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense control to meet sales and profit targets.
- Supervise hourly associates—hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set expectations, recognize performance, and promote a culture of belonging.
- Coordinate job‑related activities, build stakeholder relationships, and measure progress toward goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards, support the Open Door Policy, and act with integrity.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging; respect individuals, build high‑performing teams, and foster a supportive environment.
- Serve customers and members, deliver results while putting the customer first, and use data insights for decision‑making.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
For facilities that sell firearms, acknowledgment of successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For facilities that sell only ammunition, acknowledgment of required state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility may be necessary.
Associates must attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
Preferred QualificationsBachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
