What You'll Do Teach high school business and career-related courses help students build financial literacy, leadership, and workplace skills design engaging, real-world learning experiences support student career exploration and readiness collaborate with colleagues to support student success contribute to a positive high school culture.

What We Offer Minimum starting salary: $50,000 for educators new to the profession (2026 - 27 salary schedule pending board approval) strong collaboration and professional learning structures mentorship for new teachers a district culture focused on continuous improvement and student success.

Licensure / Endorsement Requirements Preferred candidates will hold or be able to obtain appropriate Iowa CTE Business Education endorsements, such as:
Business: 5 - 12 All - 1171 Business: 5 - 12 (120 or 139 depending on preparation pathway) other applicable Iowa CTE endorsements or licensure pathways may be considered! Candidates who are eligible for licensure or are currently completing an approved teacher preparation program are encouraged to apply.

Job Requirements Citizenship, residency, or a work visa is required.
