Health education helps students build the knowledge and skills they need to live healthy, balanced lives.
From mental wellness and nutrition to personal responsibility and decision-making, health classes give students tools that matter far beyond high school.
Webster City CSD is seeking a 7-12 Health Teacher who believes helping students understand and care for their physical, emotional, and social well-being prepares them for success in school and in life.

What You'll Do
- Teach high school health education courses
- Help students develop knowledge and skills related to physical health, mental wellness, nutrition, and personal responsibility
- Create engaging learning experiences that support healthy decision-making
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student well-being and learning
- Contribute to a positive and supportive high school culture

- Minimum starting salary: $50,000 for educators new to the profession

Licensure / Endorsement Requirements
Preferred candidates will hold one or more of the following Iowa endorsements appropriate for health instruction:
- Health: 5- 12 (138)
- Other applicable Iowa teaching endorsements may also be considered.
Candidates who are eligible for licensure or are currently completing an approved teacher preparation program are encouraged to apply.
Candidates without the Health endorsement but willing to obtain it may also be considered.
