Christ Community Lutheran School is seeking a part-time Elementary P.E. Teacher (Kindergarten–4th Grade).

This role supports students in developing healthy, active lifestyles by engaging them in safe, enjoyable physical activity that builds confidence in their God‑given abilities. The teacher also models and encourages Christ‑like attitudes, helping students demonstrate respect, integrity, and a spirit that honors God in all they do.

• Teaches two 30‑minute P.E. lessons per week to each class
• Assists with daily lunch and recess supervision

• Part‑time position within regular school‑day hours
• Monday / Tuesday / Thursday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (includes 1‑hour break)
• Built‑in time for setup, takedown, and planning
• No before‑school or after‑school duties required

Qualified candidates will demonstrate:

• Active membership in a Lutheran church
• Experience teaching elementary P.E. and/or coaching elementary‑age children
• Experience in a Lutheran school or ministry setting (preferred)
• Clear alignment with the CCLS mission, code of conduct, and statement of faith

Candidates active and in good standing on the LCMS Roster will be issued a divine Call.

• Salary distributed over 12 months
• Compensation aligned with LCMS Missouri District guidelines (prorated for part‑time, academic‑year role)
• Based on approximately 20 hours per week
• Traditional academic calendar, including summers off

There may be an opportunity to combine this role with a separate Aftercare Manager position to create a full‑time role for qualified candidates.
