Mechanical Project Designer

Introba is seeking a Mechanical Project Designer for our growing Team in St. Louis, MO.

• Provide technical assistance to Senior Designers/Project Managers/Team Leaders
• Maintain Design files, including AutoCAD/Revit
• Set up heating and cooling load calculation file (e.g. Carrier HAP) and have inputs checked by senior staff
• Draft HVAC layout with minimal supervision and ensure design checklist and technology standards are followed
• Coordinate equipment selections from vendors using Introba selection procedures with senior staff assistance
• Coordinate mechanical requirements with other disciplines (Architects, Structural Consultants, Electrical Consultants, etc.) under supervision of senior staff
• Provide construction administration services as directed and supervised by senior staff
• Attend site surveys with senior staff and independently
• Write Technical System descriptions for documents such as Basis of Design
• Cover external coordination meetings independently as needed

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years of design experience in HVAC;
  Revit experience may be a combination of academic and professional
• Desired experience in Government, Healthcare, Education, and/or Data Center sectors
• Ability to read architectural, structural, electrical drawings with minimal supervision
• Ability to apply prescriptive requirements of Energy Code with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of energy modeling and calculations is desired
• EIT classification is desired
