Lanessa Extended Care, a leading healthcare provider in Southern New England, is seeking a dynamic and compassionate per diem Physical Therapist to join our team at our Webster location. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload. Up to $55 an hour with weekly pay.

Responsibilities
  • Screens patients/residents, evaluates, and develops appropriate care plans
  • Provides direct patient treatment in accordance with established plans of care
  • Participates in the clinical team process, contributes to team meetings, and decision‑making
  • Consults with patients, residents, and caregivers
  • Documents activities according to company clinical documentation system
  • Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
  • Communicates effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisors
  • Participates in census building and marketing activities, quality improvement initiatives, and service excellence initiatives
  • Exhibits courtesy, compassion, and respect to patients, residents, families, caregivers, visitors, physicians, administrators, and colleagues
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
  • Massachusetts PT license
  • Ability to function effectively in multi‑faceted systems and interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

    Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient care
  • Requires intense attention and concentration
  • Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others
