- Support clinical interventions using evidence-based practice
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders
- Administer procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use
- Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising Occupational Therapist
- Document treatment outcomes, progress notes, and maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy goals and progress
- Participate in patient care conferences, team meetings, and required trainings
- Support and supervise students under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist
- Ensure compliance with professional practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
- Valid state licensure/registration (if applicable)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow regulatory and clinical guidelines
