Therapist – Physical Therapy Assistant

$1380.40/week -

Job Summary:

Provide rehabilitative and skilled physical therapy interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Ensure clinical interventions adhere to regulatory standards and facilitate patient recovery and progress.

Responsibilities:

• Support clinical interventions utilizing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
• Administer skilled treatments including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans.
• Document all clinical activities, patient responses, and treatment minutes accurately in electronic records.
• Educate and counsel patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercises.
• Participate in team meetings, care conferences, and training sessions to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of PTA experience; new grads with Level II experience eligible.
• Demonstrate experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings.
• Strong understanding of clinical procedures, documentation requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Physical Therapists and healthcare team members.
