Pay & Benefits

What You'll Do

  • Support clinical interventions using evidence-based practices under supervision
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments for patients with physical functioning disorders
  • Administer procedures such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices
  • Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising Physical Therapists
  • Document treatment outcomes, patient progress, and discharge summaries accurately
  • Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and team members
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and conferences as required
  • Assist in obtaining supplies and support student supervision when needed
  • Adhere to APTA and state practice acts, ethics, and standards of conduct

What You Need

Required:

  • Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Prior experience in long-term care preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of regulatory and clinical documentation requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
