• Carry out physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to address residents’ mobility, strength, and balance
• Deliver direct therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance activities
• Observe resident responses to interventions and report progress or changes to the supervising PT
• Assist with resident assessments and contribute to documentation and care planning as appropriate
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and techniques to promote safety and carryover outside sessions
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure proper use of therapy equipment and assistive devices
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support coordinated resident care
• Adhere to state, federal, and facility regulations and professional standards of practice
• Uphold licensure and continuing education requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current PTA license in the state of practice (Massachusetts)
• Prior experience in SNF or geriatric settings preferred
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a rehabilitation team under the supervision of a licensed PT
