Recruiter / Talent Acquisition
Hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with some flexibility
Duration: 6-month contract with potential to convert permanent
Pay: $50-60/hour

A large, well-established organization is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to support high-volume and strategic hiring across multiple business areas. This role is ideal for an experienced recruiter who can operate as a true talent partner, manage complex searches, coach hiring managers, and deliver a strong candidate experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone with corporate recruiting experience, or a strong staffing background, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The company is currently investing heavily in modernization efforts, including updated office space, employee-focused amenities, and improved work spaces.
Responsibilities- Lead full-cycle recruiting for professional, exempt, technical, and senior-level roles
- Partner with HR and business leaders to understand hiring needs, define selection criteria, and build effective recruitment strategies
- Source, screen, interview, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Support hiring managers through candidate assessment, interview feedback, offer discussions, and final selection
- Build strong candidate relationships and ensure a positive experience from initial contact through onboarding readiness
- Develop talent pipelines through job boards, networking, professional groups, schools, agencies, and recruiting events
- Track recruiting activity, prepare reports, analyze hiring trends, and maintain staffing metrics
- Contribute to recruiting process improvements, technology updates, hiring events, and HR-related projects
- Support and mentor less experienced recruiting team members as needed
- 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in corporate recruiting, staffing, or a blend of both
- Experience recruiting for professional roles such as underwriting, claims, legal, insurance, financial services, operations, or related business functions
- Strong ability to manage difficult conversations and consult with hiring leaders
- Experience building pipelines and managing multiple requisitions at once Comfortable working in an open office environment and collaborating closely with a recruiting team
- Strong communication, organization, negotiation, and follow-up skills
- Experience with ATS/HRIS systems, sourcing platforms, job boards, and recruiting metrics
- Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices
- PHR or SPHR certification is a plus, but not required
- Hybrid schedule with flexibility
