Position Description
We’re seeking experienced Guidewire Business Analysts to help drive success on high-impact client engagements. This is an exciting opportunity to work on transformative projects within the Property & Casualty Insurance space, leveraging your expertise to deliver innovative solutions. We’re building a best-in-class team by combining the deep knowledge of our existing P&C Insurance Vertical members with fresh talent and new perspectives.

- Report to the Program Director and perform core business analysis functions
- Operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional Agile environment (Scrum/SAFe)
- Lead requirements gathering for Guidewire Policy Center and integration functions
- Collaborate with client SMEs to elicit business and technical requirements
- Facilitate workshops and JAD sessions; obtain timely stakeholder approvals
- Gather requirements for external rating modules and vendor integrations (e.g., Lexis Nexis)
- Document specifications for data analysis, mappings, and transformations across Guidewire and third‑party integrations
- Develop functional specifications (user stories, process flows, use cases, data mappings) using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Rally
- Conduct sprint demonstrations and participate in Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Deliver end‑user training through workshops, guides, and operational manuals
- 10–12 years of experience delivering a wide range of technology solutions across the Insurance industry
- At least 5–7 years of experience in Guidewire Policy Center, Rating, and Integrations
- Hands‑on experience with Guidewire Advance product designer, data dictionary, underwriting rules framework, etc.
- Experience in data analysis and data mappings for Guidewire and third‑party integrations
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Guidewire Policy Center functional certifications
- Agile certifications (Scrum/SAFe)
- Insure Tech enthusiasm
- Guidewire application knowledge (Policy Center, Integrations)
- Experience using management tools like Confluence, JIRA, Rally, HP ALM
- Expertise in using Microsoft Office suite, Visio, etc.
- Ability to query SQL databases and analyze results
- Experience working with XML and JSON structures
- Excellent domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance
- Detailed knowledge of Guidewire applications specifically Policy Center and Rating
- Experience documenting specifications for Rating (Rate book, rate table and rate routines)
- Experience in data analysis and data mappings for Guidewire and third‑party integrations
- Expertise in creating functional specifications in the form of user stories, process flows, use cases, data mappings
- Experienced at gathering, defining, and organizing business and functional requirements including acceptance criteria for use by developers and testers to implement and test a functionality
- Ability to lead and facilitate requirements‑gathering sessions
- Eliciting requirements and scope using client interviews, document review, legacy analysis, survey, and translating client requirements into agile user stories
- Collaboratively work closely with business product owners, actuaries, architects, developers and testers to ensure the solution is built in accordance with defined requirements
- Identifying, capturing, resolving or escalating risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
- Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity:
