Summary
Develops impactful visualizations and reports for non-technical audiences and supports ad hoc reporting needs. Collaborates with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into well-documented deliverables and provides meaningful data to guide decision‑making. Demonstrates proficiency in data extraction, validation, and manipulation to ensure accuracy and quality.
- This position is eligible for a higher grade based on experience.
- This role is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future.
- This is a hybrid role, requiring working on site in Webster, MA three days per week. Remote candidates will not be considered.
- Creates more complex visualizations and/or reports tailored for consumption by a non‑technical audience.
- Assists in developing and distributing ad hoc reporting.
- Provides support in meetings to translate business needs into clearly defined, well‑documented, high‑quality requirements to support reporting and visualization projects.
- Demonstrates a basic‑to‑intermediate understanding of the fundamentals of data extraction, validation, and manipulation.
- Supports colleagues with a variety of tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts to effectively provide meaningful and valuable data to assist in executive decision‑making.
- Exercises discretion and applies critical thinking relative to analysis, planning, and/or implementation of critical business initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics or related field. MBA is a plus.
- 2–4 years’ experience or equivalent, related knowledge (higher‑level candidates will be considered based upon relevant experience/skills).
- Personal or Commercial Lines Insurance experience.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data querying, analysis, visualization, and automation.
- Skilled in developing automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and reporting.
- Experience with cloud platforms and data warehousing technologies.
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
$77,700 – $135,300
