Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

Position: Registered Nurse

Location: Lanessa Extended Care, Webster

Pay: $42 to $49 an hour with weekly pay, depending on the shift. Evening, overnight, and weekend shift differentials apply.

Shifts: Full-time and part-time openings on 7a-3p and 3p-11p

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care.
  • Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
  • Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under your care.
  • Follow physician's orders and transcribe orders promptly and accurately.
  • Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness.
  • Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes.
  • Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs.
  • Administer medication according to procedure.
  • Comply with facility Privacy Practices Policies and Procedures and protect residents' health information.
Requirements
  • Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing or college.
  • Must be CPR certified.
  • Must have a current and active RN license in the state, or be in the process of obtaining one.
  • New graduates welcome.

  • Possesses accurate and comprehensive assessment skills.
  • Has knowledge of drug actions and interactions.
  • Is familiar with restorative nursing rehabilitation policies and utilizes appropriately.
  • Has patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
  • Is willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
