Nurse Practitioner
Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join our Primary Care team in Worcester, MA as a New Patient Intake Clinician.

Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities- Adult Medicine Intake / Access APC role focused on improving access for new Internal Medicine patients and supporting practice growth
- Serve as the first clinical point of contact for patients entering the Adult Medicine practice
- Focus on new patient visits, problem‑focused evaluations, and care navigation, with appropriate transition to long‑term primary care providers
- Clinical responsibilities include acute and subacute concerns, chronic disease assessment and stabilization, and initiation of preventive care
- No procedural responsibilities beyond standard outpatient Internal Medicine scope
- Anticipated patient volume of 14-18 patients per day, based on visit type and complexity
- 20-30 minute visit lengths, with flexibility for more complex visits
- Highly collaborative, team‑based environment working closely with IM physicians, APCs, nursing staff, and medical assistants
- Key access role supporting timely patient evaluation and panel growth
- Monday‑Friday, daytime schedule
- No call, weekend, or holiday responsibilities
- Well‑suited for NPs or PAs who enjoy access‑focused care, care coordination, and team‑based primary care

The salary range for this role is $109,500 to $164,000 annually based on full‑time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. United Health Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. Required Qualifications- Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Unlimited licensure in the state of Massachusetts
- Active DEA License
- Experience working within a Team Care model
- Fluency in EMR systems & technology
- EPIC experience a plus
