Your Impact and
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinating all residential admissions, including intake assessments, assisting, and ensuring budgeted census goals.
* Assist in collecting clinical information, admission documentation, and submission of funding approval to the assigned funding source.
* Completion of SMHK clinical submissions and subsequent authorizations for billing purposes.
* Contact all referral sources as needed for updates on the intake process and potential admission questions or concerns.
* Ensure the preparation of the admission packet, communication of admission to the residential team, and distribution of necessary documentation.
* Complete admission process with client and guardian within the program,
* Enter and maintain data in the agency's client management system (ETO) within a timely manner.
* Follow up on obtaining any required documentation not received on the day of admission.
* Ensure completion of admission integrated assessment.
* Receive and document in ETO all Limited Referrals to Epworth's treatment program.
* Participate in program meetings and other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
Education and/or Experience
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred and/or five years of experience in the social service field required.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily, as well as possess the skills and meet the demands outlined in this job description.

Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
* Demonstrated ability to utilize strength-based, therapeutic crisis intervention methods with adolescents.
* Understanding of at-risk youth client population.
* Ability to effectively instruct clients and support during the intake process.
* Ability to read, interpret, and implement agency and program documents, including procedure manuals, treatment plans, etc.
* Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
* Interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with colleagues, community partners, families, etc.
* Computer skills:
Microsoft Word and Outlook, and ETO database software.
* The physical requirements of this job include sitting, standing, walking and climbing stairs on a regular basis, lifting up to 100lbs, pulling and/or pushing on occasion.
