Responsibilities
- Lead, facilitate, and deliver engaging training programs using a variety of methods, including classroom sessions, virtual platforms (Teams, Zoom, etc.), onsite coaching, remote learning, and on-the-job training.
- Serve as program manager for assigned curricula, ensuring content remains relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with company strategy and key performance goals.
- Design and develop high-quality instructional materials and courseware, including instructor-led training (ILT), e-learning modules, and hybrid learning experiences.
- Conduct needs analyses and stakeholder meetings to identify skill gaps and determine targeted training solutions.
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders to uncover customer-centric challenges and address performance improvement opportunities through training.
- Create outlines and select appropriate instructional methods, including individual and group training, demonstrations, workshops, webinars, self-guided learning, and performance support tools.
- Develop job aids, knowledge base materials, system procedures, and instructional guides to support learner success and maintain program integrity.
- Support and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate course descriptions, learning goals, and updated completion records.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, providing data-driven insights, reports, and recommendations for improvement.
- Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to leadership to continuously evolve and enhance learning programs.
- Perform work requiring advanced knowledge, sound judgment, and independent decision-making in a highly collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience in a specialized field
- 2–4 years of experience in Learning & Development, training, or a related area
- Prior Casualty claim handling preferred
- Experience using AI-driven tools and technologies (strongly preferred)
- Change Management certification (Prosci, ACMP, or equivalent) strongly preferred

Pay PhilosophyThe typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
