Accounts Payable Manager

Description

Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our Rochester, NY client on a contract basis. This role requires a strong understanding of accounts payable processes, as well as the ability to manage transactional tasks and support process improvements. This is a fully onsite opportunity for approximately 2-3 months.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing.

- Assist with streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and eliminate redundancies.

- Provide transactional support, including coding invoices and performing check runs.

- Collaborate with clerks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in invoice handling and payments.

- Manage (ACH) transactions and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

- Lead efforts to clean up existing systems and processes for improved functionality.

- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in invoices and payments.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.

- Support team members with training and guidance on accounts payable tasks.

Requirements

- Proven experience in accounts payable management or a similar role.

- Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in financial software and tools related to accounts payable.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- Capability to work onsite with flexibility for hybrid arrangements.
