Must have NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant - Level I, Level II or Level III or have NYS certification as a teacher We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications: A strong understanding of Mathematics Familiarity with NYS Math Standards & Practices Excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning.

Excellent classroom management skills Must have a professional repertoire including but not limited to organization, time management, technology skills, and approach Responsibilities:
Support students with math concepts Collaborate with teachers Assess student learning in a variety of ways Provides comprehensive instruction in the NYS Standards aligned Math curriculum Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of mathematics in addition to the ability to convey it to the students Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference Salary:
