Requirements:
Must have NYS Certification in either Early Childhood Education B-2, Childhood Education 1-6, or Nursery-6. We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications:
Previous teaching experience in elementary education. Strong ability to collaborate and be an effective member of a grade-level team. Exemplify the WCSD Essential Skills and Core Beliefs. Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning.

Responsibilities:
Provides comprehensive instruction in the District approved curriculum. Integrates literacy skills and strategies within the academic program, ensuring that all students are able to access text and communicate understanding through writing. Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of subject area and the ability to convey it to the students. Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference.

Salary:
As per current Webster Teacher Association (WTA) Contract based on experience and education. Perks: NYS Teacher's Retirement System pension. Additional compensation for Master's Degree, graduate hours and previously awarded tenure. Powerful and diverse professional growth opportunities.
