Position Goal
To provide general administrative and clerical support to the Admissions Department, assisting admissions in reaching enrollment and placement goals.
Responsibilities- Enter lead information into Recruit.
- Assist in scheduling prospective students to meet with Admission Representatives, and make follow‑up calls as needed.
- Schedule applicants for PAX testing, make follow‑up and reminder calls, and proctor if required.
- Complete prospective student files and enter information into Recruit, and make follow‑up and reminder calls regarding file completion.
- Assist in completing and preparing student files for the Admissions Committee.
- Provide campus tours as needed.
- Maintain and update student placement records, including contacting graduates for employment information.
- Coordinate and host Career Fairs and other placement activities.
- Perform clerical functions as needed by Admissions staff.
- Serve as a team member of all campus departments to support efficient departmental functioning.
- Maintain a positive work environment to support quality programming and program outcomes.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree in business management or related field, preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a business or educational environment.
- Ability to secure state‑required agent licensing, if needed.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Recruit is helpful.
- Customer‑friendly demeanor and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Physical/mental demands: must be able to sit at a desk for eight hours a day.
