Repair Calibration Technician II

The Repair Calibration Technician II is responsible for the in‑house testing, troubleshooting, repair and calibration of Evident Instrumentation used in laboratory, manufacturing and other environments.

Responsibilities
  • Perform in‑house testing, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of portable Phase Array, Ultrasonic and Eddy Current Array, Evident Instrumentation.
  • Ensure timely, professional, and effective response to customer service needs to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze results, and maintain logs and required documentation.
  • Prepare technical reports and Quality Control data for each unit’s record.
  • Read and comprehend standard Engineering documentation, such as schematics, BOMs, test procedures, wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.
  • Effectively use electronic test equipment and software:
    Oscilloscope, Function generator, multimeter and PC diagnostic tools.
  • Follow detailed repair, calibration, and administration procedures for Evident products with excellent attention to detail and ability to multi‑task numerous customer repairs through to completion.
  • Excel in a fast‑paced environment, ability to multi‑task and meet shipping deadlines.
  • Record all pertinent repair activities with appropriate detail in the business CRM systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications Education
  • HS Degree and associate degree in Electronics or equivalent.
  • Military or Technical School preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.
Experience
  • Experience working in a calibration and repair facility strongly desired.
  • Experience in technical after‑sales service environment/organization field service highly desired.
  • 3+ years of experience repairing instruments and/or electronic devices.
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing both board‑level and component‑level electronics.
Skills

Pay Range: $26.00 - $28.00/hour a year plus 5% annual bonus target.
