Position Overview:

The Operations Integration Engineer serves as the critical bridge between KULR's Engineering and Operations teams, ensuring that new product designs, process changes, and customer program requirements translate seamlessly into production-ready outcomes. This role is embedded in the day-to-day rhythm of both organizations - participating in engineering development activities while simultaneously supporting the production floor in executing builds, maintaining high quality standards, and meeting customer delivery timelines.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role that requires multi-disciplinary technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable reviewing a design schematic with an engineer and walking a production line with an assembler. They thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and take personal ownership of outcomes.

Functions:

* Collaborate with Engineering during trial builds and first article inspections to validate manufacturing processes and support successful product launches.

* Serve as the primary production-floor technical resource during new product introductions and modified product configurations.

* Identify and communicate design-for-manufacturability concerns, production risks, and process improvement opportunities prior to full-scale manufacturing.

* Support implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) by updating work instructions, bills of materials (BOMs), tooling requirements, and production documentation.

* Assist in developing, validating, and executing production test protocols and acceptance criteria for new products and assemblies.

* Support compliance and certification activities related to UL, UN 38.3, and other applicable regulatory standards, including traceability and first article requirements.

* Coordinate startup, commissioning, and validation activities for new production lines, equipment installations, and facility expansions.

* Develop, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), visual aids, and assembly documentation for manufacturing operations.

* Ensure production documentation is properly version controlled, accessible to operations personnel, and aligned with quality management system requirements.

* Maintain batch and lot traceability documentation, including build records, material traceability, inspection data, and customer compliance records.

* Partner with Quality teams to develop inspection criteria, traveler documentation, and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).

* Support cross-functional production planning activities by tracking program schedules, material readiness, tooling availability, and production milestones.

* Coordinate with Procurement and Operations to manage material availability, lead times, and readiness for production commitments.

* Facilitate communication between Engineering, Operations, Quality, Procurement, and Program Management to ensure alignment on priorities, schedules, and deliverables.

* Prepare and distribute status reports, meeting notes, action item trackers, and escalation summaries to support informed decision-making and project execution.

* Other job-related duties as assigned.
