Mechanical Engineer I in Webster, Texas. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing and analyzing components and assemblies with a keen eye for structural integrity. The role will collaborate with RF Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to deliver innovative, manufacturable products to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate technical information internally with various departments.
- Design hardware based on customer specifications using Solid Works.
- Perform static and dynamic analyses (modal, static, vibration) on designed hardware using NEi Nastran and Femap.
- Create and maintain proper documentation associated with the design and analysis of the hardware.
- Support production and test of the hardware.
- Review and approve drawings using GD&T.
- Adhere to government regulations, industry standards, and internal guidelines to produce quality hardware.
- Participate in continuing process improvement.
- Demonstrate company core values.
- Other duties as assigned.
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Solid Works or similar CAD experience desired.
- EPDM experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems desired.
