Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – PRN, LTACH
We are searching for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Kindred Hospital – Clear Lake, a Long-Term Acute Care hospital located at 350 Blossom Street, Webster, TX. Your expertise will help patients recover from a range of medically complex conditions.
Highlights- Advanced Critical Care – intensive care and telemetry-level services for conditions like respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and complex wounds.
- Specialized Treatments – management of ventilators, dialysis, or IV therapy with a multidisciplinary team.
- Certifications – Accredited by The Joint Commission for Long-Term Acute Care, and disease‑specific certifications in Respiratory Failure and Sepsis.
- Evaluate and treat patient populations for swallowing, speech-language, and therapy needs.
- Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition.
- Design and implement an appropriate plan of care, involving the patient and family.
- Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
- Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services.
- Supervise activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Licensed Speech Therapist; current licensure with State Board of Speech‑Language Pathology & Audiology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire.
