Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – PRN, LTACH

We are searching for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Kindred Hospital – Clear Lake, a Long-Term Acute Care hospital located at 350 Blossom Street, Webster, TX. Your expertise will help patients recover from a range of medically complex conditions.

• Advanced Critical Care – intensive care and telemetry-level services for conditions like respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and complex wounds.
• Specialized Treatments – management of ventilators, dialysis, or IV therapy with a multidisciplinary team.
• Certifications – Accredited by The Joint Commission for Long-Term Acute Care, and disease‑specific certifications in Respiratory Failure and Sepsis.

• Evaluate and treat patient populations for swallowing, speech-language, and therapy needs.
• Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition.
• Design and implement an appropriate plan of care, involving the patient and family.
• Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services.
• Supervise activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Licensed Speech Therapist; current licensure with State Board of Speech‑Language Pathology & Audiology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire.
