The ideal candidate is a high-integrity, people-centered leader with strong judgment, confidentiality, and a deep commitment to fostering a respectful, supportive, and values-aligned workplace.
Key Responsibilities (in order of priority)- Manage full-cycle recruiting for all roles, from job posting to offer letter.

- Partner with hiring managers to forecast staffing needs and build quality candidate pipelines.
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and evaluate candidate fit for both technical skills and cultural alignment.
- Personally oversee the onboarding process, new hire paperwork, benefits enrollment, and first-week orientation.
- Manage occasional offboarding processes with professionalism and care.
- Manage salary benchmarking and recommend competitive pay structures.
- Oversee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, FMLA, and leave programs.

- Manage payroll processing.
- Create reports and metrics related to turnover, hiring, retention, compliance, and employee satisfaction.
- Drive process improvements to HR workflows.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with employees at all levels.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolution.
- Coach managers on effective leadership, communication, and performance coaching.
- Maintain a workplace atmosphere that is safe, supportive, and aligned with company values.
- Protect confidentiality at all times and act with unquestionable integrity.
- Assist managers in writing evaluations and delivering feedback.
- Track promotions, raises, and employee milestones.
- Other duties as assigned and commensurate with successful applicant's skillset.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience; open to a strong Generalist ready to step into a Manager-level role.
- Thorough understanding of employment law (federal and state).
- Demonstrated track record of discretion, ethical decision-making, and high personal integrity.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field preferred — but not required with sufficient experience.

- Background working in a family-owned or family-centric culture.
- Experience managing HR for a company between 75–150 employees.
- High integrity and strong moral compass — always does the right thing, even when difficult.
- Warm, approachable, and empathetic; builds trust with employees at all levels.
- Adaptable and flexible — willing to adjust approach based on each company's needs and culture.
- Calm under pressure with excellent judgment in sensitive situations.
- Values transparency, consistency, and fairness.
