Slick City Webster, TX is seeking a skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team and oversee the operations of our park. The General Manager will be responsible for managing the park’s operational and financial performance, developing and implementing strategies for growth and success, and leading and motivating a team of employees. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and customer service skills, leading a diverse staff and interacting with customers of all ages.
Responsibilities:- Manage the budget and financial performance of the park, including setting goals, monitoring results and overseeing revenue drivers
- Open and close the park on specified weekdays and weekends
- Develop and implement strategies for growth and success, including identifying new opportunities and improving existing processes
- Lead and motivate a team of employees, including setting performance expectations, providing training and development, and managing employee relations
- Support the hiring of assistant GMs and other hourly park employees
- Oversee the operations of the park, including ensuring that policies and procedures are followed and that all necessary resources are available
- Ensuring safe, clean and healthy operations, including incident reporting, investigations and health department inspections
- Monitor maintenance needs and inventory, ensuring supplies and equipment always meet demand expectations
- Monitor market trends and adapt to changing business needs
- Support social media and marketing activities
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience and manage guest escalation to preserve brand image
- High School Diploma. College degree is a plus
- A background in marketing and an active social media presence is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role, as a General Manager or Assistant GM
- Experience in the family entertainment, hospitality or retail industry. Previous experience working for an action or trampoline park is a plus
- Personable, charismatic and loves interacting with families and customers of all ages
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motive a diverse team
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong financial management skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
