What You'll Do
As the Branch Director, you'll provide operational and clinical leadership for your home health branch while ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and employee engagement.
Operational Leadership
* Direct the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficient, compliant, and patient-centered care delivery.
* Lead strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, scheduling, payroll verification, purchasing, and office operations.
* Drive branch growth through business development, community partnerships, and referral source relationships.
* Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and financial performance.
* Ensure the branch consistently meets operational, clinical, and fiscal goals.
Clinical & Regulatory Excellence
* Maintain compliance with all Medicare, Medicaid, State, Federal, and company regulations.
* Ensure survey readiness and successful regulatory inspections.
* Promote continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction.
* Stay current on home health regulations, reimbursement, and industry best practices.
* Partner with clinical leaders to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.
Leadership & Team Development
* Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain a high-performing interdisciplinary team.
* Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative culture.
* Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective action when appropriate.
* Ensure staff receive required education, compliance training, and professional development opportunities.
* Serve as a mentor, resource, and leader across the branch.
Business Growth
* Build strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, case managers, and community partners.
* Develop referral sources and execute local market growth strategies.
* Promote Elara Caring throughout the community while maintaining exceptional customer service.
* Collaborate with regional leadership to identify opportunities for expansion and operational improvement.
What We're Looking For
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required
* Minimum 2 years of leadership or management experience
* At least 1 year of Home Health leadership experience
* Strong knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation, home health regulations, and reimbursement
* Experience managing budgets, staffing, productivity, and operational performance
* Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop successful teams
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
* Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable transportation for business travel within the assigned service area
* Physical Requirements:
Sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently and be able to lift 50-100 lbs
