Job Summary
We are seeking a Nurse Manager (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.
What You Will Do- You will assist the Director with all department activities to assure a coordinated effort in fulfilling department responsibilities with the long range plan, mission, vision, and values of the facility.
- You will assist in coordinating the department’s participation in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement.
- You will ensure that nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluates the effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
- You will provide clinical support to the nursing staff.
- You will be responsible assisting, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- 3 years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Prior Cath Lab experience is preferred.
- 1 year of management or Charge Nurse experience required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
