Travel Nurse RN ICU – Webster, Texas

Anders Group is seeking a travel nurse RN in ICU for a travel nursing job in Webster, Texas.

• Assess patient condition and plan/implement patient care plans
• Treat wounds and provide advanced life support
• Assist physicians with procedures
• Observe and record vital signs
• Ensure ventilators, monitors and other medical equipment function properly (including ventilator/IABP)
• Administer IV fluids and medications
• Suction
• Collaborate with the critical care team
• Respond to life‑saving situations using nursing standards and protocols
• Act as patient advocate
• Provide education and support to patient families
• Care for pre‑ and post‑operative patients, as applicable

• Minimum 3 years recent RN ICU experience in an acute care or LTAC facility setting
• Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy, wound care, and central line management
• ACLS and BLS certifications (from American Heart Association)
• Valid Texas RN license or multi‑state RN license
• Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer
• Unable to accept candidates currently on a per diem at a Kindred Houston area facility
• Facility requirements: must float to lower acuity unit depending on census; patient ratio 1:6
