Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in infusion therapy to join our healthcare team in Webster, TX. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring infusion treatments, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective administration of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer intravenous (IV) medications, fluids, and blood products according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Monitor patients during infusion therapy for adverse reactions and respond promptly to any complications.
  • Perform patient assessments, including vital signs and infusion site evaluations, before, during, and after treatment.
  • Educate patients and their families about infusion procedures, potential side effects, and post-infusion care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of infusion treatments, patient responses, and nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control standards and safety protocols.
  • Maintain infusion equipment and supplies, ensuring proper function and availability.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in infusion therapy or related specialty.
  • Certification in infusion therapy (e.g., CRNI) is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of IV therapy, medication administration, and patient monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
    Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

This position is based in a clinical setting in Dallas, TX. The role may require standing for extended periods, frequent patient interaction, and adherence to strict safety and hygiene protocols.
