3 days per week, 7p‑7a/Rotating Weekends

Job Overview

This position is a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. The RN will deliver safe, high‑quality care to neonates and families.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism, engaging in unit and organizational activities.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
  • Take accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi‑State Compact License (requires obtaining a Texas RN License within 90 days of hire).
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP).
  • 1 year of clinical NICU L2 and L3 experience as a licensed RN in an acute care setting.
