Work Schedule

3 days per week, 7a-7p / Rotating Weekends.

As a Registered Nurse in Inpatient Rehabilitation at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, you will influence patient care through collaborative relationships and participation in hospital councils and national nursing initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients.
  • Meet the Standards of Practice for the Rehabilitation Unit and manage all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment.
  • Participate in activities to plan, measure, assess and improve the quality of patient care.
  • Instruct patients/families regarding the disease process.
  • Complete additional admission paperwork specific to the Rehabilitation Unit.
  • Participate in weekly patient care conferences as needed.
  • Assume the responsibility of charging the unit as needed.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Current registered nurse license in the State of Texas or multi‑state compact license (must obtain Texas RN license within 90 days of hire date).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • One year of clinical rehabilitation experience as a licensed RN.
