Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location
Houston, TX
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.

Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides high-quality nursing care to critically ill newborns. The RN plays a vital role in monitoring patients’ conditions and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Responsibilities- Assess and monitor patients in the NICU.
- Perform IV starts and PICC insertions when trained.
- Utilize medical equipment such as isolettes, OMNI beds, and phototherapy devices.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the EMR system (Meditech and CPN).
- Ensure adherence to unit policies and guidelines.
- Current RN licensure.
- NRP certification required; STABLE certification preferred.
- Experience with central lines (UAC, UVC, broviacs, PICC) is a plus.
