Admissions RN - Med Surg Acute Inpatient

Work Schedule

3 days per week, 7a-7p/Rotating Weekends

As an Acute Inpatient – Med/Surg Registered Nurse, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team, advocate for patients and families, and embody our organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

• Coordinate the nursing care of assigned patients in the Unit to provide quality patient care.
• Apply knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety, and related criteria for the appropriate age populations.
• Provide professional nursing care, exercising independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Offer leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred).
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or a Multi‑State Compact License (Employees with an RN Compact License must obtain a Texas RN License within 60 days of hire).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification (required).
• Minimum one year of clinical Med/Surg experience as a licensed RN in an acute care setting (required).
