The Salesman role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and enhancing customer satisfaction within the retail trade industry. Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, specializing in Powersports, Auto or RV
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training or certification in sales techniques or retail management.
- Bilingual abilities to serve a diverse customer base.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in previous roles.
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising principles.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their needs and preferences.
- Present and demonstrate products, highlighting features and benefits to encourage purchases.
- Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets through effective selling techniques.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions, and industry trends to provide accurate information.
- Process sales transactions accurately and handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with team members and management to optimize store performance and customer experience.
- Maintain the sales floor appearance, including product displays and inventory organization.
Skills:
The required sales expertise is applied daily to identify customer needs, tailor product presentations, and close sales effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Strong communication skills enable clear and persuasive interactions with customers, fostering trust and rapport.
