Requisition

• Work in a safe manner while constantly aiming for no incidents or accidents.
• Know and understand all rules and regulations specific to the customer sites and align with all company policies, rules and guidelines.
• Prepare or confirm the accuracy of all paperwork associated with shipping hazardous waste.
• Complete site inspections and audits.
• Arrange for samples and profiles to be submitted to TSDF (Treatment Storage Disposal Facility) and coordinate the expired profile program.
• Responsible for running different analytical equipment and working with the team to develop different test methods.
• Own hands‑on physical analysis, including sample preparation and distribution.
• Assignments are semi‑routine but may include a wide array of laboratory techniques and skills, equipment maintenance, and process/controls troubleshooting.
• Prepare waste for shipments.
• Complete shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Non‑Hazardous and Hazardous Manifests.
• Perform general housekeeping needs for customer waste storage areas.
• Track and maintain profiles submitted to TSDF and ensure timely processing; resolve profile issues with the Outside Sales Representative, TSDF, Chem Care Sales Coordinator, and customer.
• Receive orders for pickup of customer wastes; develop a calendar for monthly and/or quarterly pickup schedules if applicable, coordinate pickups with Univar Chem Care office, transporters, and TSDF as appropriate, and perform waste sampling and submission to the appropriate TSDF.
• Comply with all company policies, rules and guidelines.
• Apply and develop skills and/or obtain endorsements or certifications (e.g., CDL, CHMM, RCRA/DOT) that align with the scope of work.
• Perform all other duties as required.
• Travel will be required 60-75% of the time.
• Travel will consist of out‑of‑town and overnight travel via airplane and/or driving to locations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• General college science background in Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Services, Environmental Science or comparable work experience.
• 1-3 years of related operations experience.
• Preferred in‑depth knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and EPA regulations, acquired through documented detailed work experience.
• Function‑specific training and customer‑site specific training, if applicable.
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate level understanding of Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to classify waste according to RCRA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes.
