Housing Case Manager, ESG, CoC
Provide housing case management assistance to survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault. Evaluate needs of the family and connect them to resources to meet those needs, (i.e., clothing, furniture, food, etc.) Work Schedule to Include:
Mon-Wed: 8:30am–5:30pm;
Thur: 11:00am–7:30pm;
Fri: 8:00am – 3:00pm
Essential Functions:
- Ensure housing program survivors are safe(r), stable, and thriving using a collaborative model and building rapport and relationship.
- Conduct casework with housing participants to include goal setting, education, personal financial planning, referral to BATP's victim advocacy program, and other services as necessary.
- Utilize positive reinforcement, reflective listening, harm reduction and other evidence-based intervention strategies to help the survivor identify and address behaviors that put the survivor at risk for losing housing.
- Provide a crisis resources map near the unit and instructions/modeling on using 211 for additional resources.
- Review and be knowledgeable of housing grant program regulations and data standards.
- Maintain program participant records and strict confidentiality when completing file maintenance and working with collaborative partners
- Document and communicate accomplishments and challenges;
Review, prepare, and organize participant's files and database for internal and external monitoring. - Attend trainings and meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills /
Qualifications:
- 2-year degree with a minimum of 3 years related administrative/program experience, or a minimum of 6 years strong experience in a related environment with demonstrated effectiveness
- Strong administrative skills and computer knowledge of programs
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing workloads.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Sensitivity and knowledge about the issues addressed by BATP.
- Ability to be on location to on-call status areas within 45 minutes.
- Must have a clean driving record/automobile insurance coverage/be insurable/ have at least three years of verifiable driving experience. No more than 2 moving violations in a 3-year period for drivers over the age of 25. No more than 1 moving violation in a 3-year period for drivers ages 21-25
- Provide proof and maintain personal automobile insurance coverage.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift/carry/move a minimum of 40 lbs. for an extended distance.
