Part Time Cashier

This is a part‑time position. Primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer’s needs, exceeding their expectations, and making every shopping visit a pleasant and satisfying experience. This requires following correct bagging procedures, providing carry‑out and parcel pickup service, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, and returning shopping carts to the store.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Associates must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities include:

• Follow bagging, carry‑out, and parcel pickup procedures.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading merchandise.
• Return shopping carts to the store and assist with general customer service.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.

• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  Complete company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge.
• Physical Demands:
  Stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, smell; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; lift up to 40 pounds; reach from 6 to 72 inches; maintain close vision and depth perception.
• Work Environment:
  Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and moderate noise.
