We serve cafés, roasters, restaurants, and serious home baristas with new and refurbished espresso machines, grinders, and accessories from the most respected brands in coffee. We’re building a disciplined, data-driven growth engine — and paid media is a critical part of that foundation.
AboutThe Role
We’re hiring a Paid & Performance Marketing Lead to take charge of customer acquisition across paid channels and shape how this function evolves as we grow. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement. You’ll guide external partners, oversee performance across key platforms, and gradually build internal capabilities to reduce reliance on agencies. You’ll be responsible for turning paid media into a consistent, scalable driver of revenue.

- Acquisition Strategy & Channel Management
- Develop and execute paid acquisition plans across core platforms such as Google and Meta.
- Allocate budgets across channels and campaigns to maximize return.
- Define success metrics and ensure performance aligns with business goals.
- Continuously refine strategy based on results and changing market conditions.
- Agency Oversight & Performance Accountability
- Manage relationships with external media agencies and ensure high-quality execution.
- Review campaign strategies, validate recommendations, and provide direction.
- Hold partners accountable to performance targets and business outcomes.
- Ensure campaigns reflect brand standards and commercial priorities.
- Building Internal Capabilities
- Identify opportunities to shift campaign ownership from agencies to internal teams.
- Create a phased plan to bring more execution and strategy in-house.
- Establish workflows, tools, and best practices to support internal operations.
- Contribute directly to campaign setup, optimization, and testing when needed.
- Google Ecosystem (Primary Growth Driver)
- Oversee performance across search, shopping, and automated campaign types.
- Align campaigns with product availability, priorities, and lifecycle stages.
- Improve conversion by optimizing keywords, feeds, and landing page alignment.
- Meta Ecosystem (Awareness & Retention)
- Lead campaign strategy across audience acquisition and retargeting efforts.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop and iterate on ad content.
- Ensure campaigns support longer buying journeys and customer education.
- Testing & New Channel Development
- Explore and evaluate additional acquisition channels such as Reddit, Linked In, and partnerships.
- Design structured experiments with clear goals and decision criteria.
- Scale successful initiatives and discontinue underperforming ones efficiently.
- Performance Tracking & Insights
- Monitor campaign performance and provide clear reporting on key metrics.
- Analyze results to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Improve tracking, attribution, and data accuracy over time.
- Share actionable insights with leadership to inform decision-making.
- Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with merchandising, lifecycle marketing, creative, and sales teams.
- Align paid efforts with product launches, promotions, and inventory constraints.
- Ensure consistency across messaging, targeting, and customer experience.
- Early Impact (first 3–6 months)
- Strong visibility into channel performance and spend efficiency.
- Clear direction and improved output from agency partners.
- Better coordination between paid media, product priorities, and creative.
