50 mile radius rule - ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE LICENSING HITS MUST BE DISCLOSED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION - # treatments per day :
Avg 90-100 WV CARES REQUIRED PRIOR TO START - Certs (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP?) RRT or is CRT acceptable?: "BLS, ACLS - RRT and/or CRT (those grandfathered in by the WV Board of Resp are acceptable)" - Types of patients (adults, peds, and neonates?) :
Adults, Peds, Neonates (No NICU, in ER setting or Peds setting) - What areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, Sleep Lab, etc.):
Inpatient (MS, PCU, ICU), ER, Rehab, PACU, SNF, Endo, Cath Lab, SDS, Outpatient ABG's and 6 minute walks - Experience or 'Must have' skills: "Prefer someone with 3-4 years of experience - Will accept first time travelers "

- Job Duties (ie: Do RTs draw ABGs, perform EKGs, etc.) Floor Duties, breathing treatments, ABG's, Capillary sticks for I-Stats, and managing r Resp equipment. No EKGs.

- Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist? Assist intubations only.

- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house 24/7?:
No - Is there a Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist on each shift? Supervisor/Director daily Mon-Friday. Charge RT's for all other shifts.

- Would the traveler ever be the only RT in-house?:
No - RT Equipment (Brand for Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow):
Puritan Bennett 840's, BiPAP V60's, High Flow-Airvo 2's.

- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): "Schedule is a 4 week rotation schedule, no self scheduling. They will work with scheduling requested RTO. 12s 630p-630a or Mid Shift 215p-1045p (5x8s per week)" - Weekend Requirements:

Yes. May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation, 4 week rotating schedule, will work with travelers around scheduling request - Call or standby call requirement?":

- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 1-3 shifts with a preceptor, as needed
