Position: Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse - $2,286 per week

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Nights and weekends as needed

• Every other weekend requirement

• May be asked to participate in holiday rotation

• 48-bed medical surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-7 on days and 1:6-8 on nights

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

• Will accept first-time travelers

• Required certifications: BLS and RN License

• Common patient diagnoses include pneumonia, UTI, altered mental status, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, and falls/weakness

• Required to titrate drips including heparin, bumex, and lasix (no cardiac drip titration)

• Floating requirements to other medical surgical, telemetry, or intermediate care units

• Charting system:
Cerner

• Dress code:
Navy blue scrubs for RNs

• 2-day orientation: 1 day educator/computer system, 1 day with preceptor

• No call or standby requirements

• Must reside within 50-mile radius and provide copy of unexpired driver's license

• BSN not required
