Rad Tech – Outpatient – Westlake (Open)

Based in Roanoke, Virginia, this role inspires optimal health through technical diagnostic procedures using state‑of‑the‑art imaging equipment and caring patient assessment.

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures using radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS systems.
• Assess patients before, during, and after imaging studies according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.
• Position patients to obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Perform IV contrast injections, urinary catheterizations, and other ancillary procedures as required.
• Utilize RIS (Radiology Information System) and electronic medical records for documentation.
• Provide training to students and staff as assigned.
• Cross‑train in laboratory phlebotomy and operate laboratory waive testing equipment in compliance with CLIA regulations.
• Receive training to perform EKGs if needed.

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry required.
• Virginia state license required.
• Advanced Life Support (AHA BLS‑HCP) required.
