Role Description

Form Energy is hiring an Engineering Process Technician to support our operations team. This role reports into our Operations Sustaining organization. As part of our sustaining team, you will be involved in new process deployment and stabilization in partnership with production teams. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!

This opportunity is based out of Form Factory 1 - Form Energy's 550,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Weirton, WV, a commutable distance from Pittsburgh. Purpose-built for high-volume, advanced battery production, Form Factory 1 is a hub of fast-moving, collaborative work driving a new era of large-scale American energy manufacturing in the heart of the Rust Belt.

What you'll do:
  • Monitor and maintain production processes, equipment, and parameters to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.

  • Conduct regular audits and data analysis to identify deviations, trends, and opportunities for process enhancements.

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, implement corrective actions, and identify areas for improvement both independently and cross-functionally.

  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs).

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a culture of safety throughout the facility.

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing updates on process performance and project statuses.

What you'll bring:
  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing environments.

  • Experience monitoring processes in an assembly, production, or related industry.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.

  • Familiarity with process control systems, data analysis, and statistical methods.

  • Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration within a dynamic production environment.

  • Adherence to safety protocols and a proactive approach to promoting a safe working environment.
