Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the launch and ramp-up of a high-volume automated battery cell assembly line. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge manufacturing technology in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on engineering support during production launch and ramp-up.
  • Troubleshoot automated assembly equipment, robotics, servo systems, and manufacturing processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve quality, yield, and equipment performance.
  • Support commissioning, production readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze manufacturing data to improve throughput, OEE, and overall production efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Manufacturing engineering experience in automated production environments.
  • Experience with manufacturing line launches, equipment commissioning, or production ramp-ups.
  • Hands‑on troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment and robotics.
  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Excel, CAD, and interpreting engineering drawings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with automated welding/joining technologies, SPC, OEE, or process capability (Cp/Cpk).
  • Knowledge of PLCs, servo systems, automation controls, Minitab, or Python is a plus.
Schedule
  • Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
  • Flexibility required during production launches
  • Occasional evenings/weekends during peak production
